Photographer: Sarah Travers-Clark of SAY Photography UK.
The Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the wedding photography booking form.
The Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and SAY Photography UK (otherwise referred to as Sarah Travers-Clark) for the agreed fee.
The fee: The amount payable by the client to the Photographer for the services listed on the wedding photography invoice.
The event: Relates in principle to the date whereby the event (i.e the wedding) takes place.
The party: Additional members of the wedding party.
The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable deposit to the Photographer. The deposit is £120 – this is required to secure the event. The event will not be secured until the initial deposit is paid.
SECURING of OTHER
A 25% deposit of package/quote will be required to secure the booking of a session. This amount is only refundable if cancelled within 24 hours notice. The securing deposit will be deducted from the outstanding balance. Balance respectfully asked to be cleared 1 week before shoot date.
Payments can be made via bank transfer as per the invoice; cheques will not be accepted. With Wedding Photography Packages, final balance is to be paid in full by the client (3) three weeks before the event. Failure to pay the fee within the stated time will result in the event being cancelled by the photographer.
Invoice hold a standard 30 days terms. Any late payments may incur a late payment fee of 8%
OF THE CLIENT:
The client shall inform the Photographer of any issues that may affect or restrict the photography.
The Photographer reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the wedding party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behaviour.
At any point, the client can cancel the event by informing the Photographer in writing.
The Photographer will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until the point of cancellation.
Wedding day bookings cancelled within six weeks of the date will incur the following cancellation fee:
• four to six weeks: 50% of the outstanding balance
• two to four weeks notice: 75% of the outstanding balance
• two weeks or less notice: 100% of the outstanding balance
If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the Photographer, every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made, however, no compensation will be offered on the Photographers part.
The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations.
The client agrees that the Photographer may use any photography for publicity purposes, which include, but are not limited to the Photographers website and social media pages. All Photography will be seen by the client(s) first.
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses beyond 20 miles of Bath.
This is to include, should it be required, congestion and parking charges. For destination weddings, airport transfers both in the UK and abroad, flights and accommodation with breakfast should all be provided.
WHO HAS ACCESS TO MY INFORMATION?
The data you provide is controlled by the Data Controller Sarah Travers-Clark of sayphotographyuk.com. Employees of sayphotographyuk.com are only permitted to access data during the course of communications with me.
WHAT DO I COLLECT AND HOW IS IT USED?
When you choose to contact me I require your name, email address and telephone number. This information is used to contact you with a quote. When you choose to contact me through a web form, I need your name and email address. This information is used to contact you if I need to respond to your question.
WHAT DATA DO I KEEP, FOR HOW LONG AND HOW IS IT STORED?
I retain all information provided to me during the course of corresponding with you to ensure I can communicate clearly with you and subsequently for analytical reasons.
HOW DO I PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
I take all reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is stored safely on my servers. In accordance with UK Data Protection legislation I follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information you provide to prevent unauthorised access.
DISCLOSE OF INFORMATION TO 3RD PARTIES
I do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. I do however capture cookie information and analytical data which is shared with Google Analytics.
YOUR CONSENT AND RIGHTS
Please note the personal information you provide will not be transferred out of the UK. The analytical data captured by Google may be stored outside of the EU.
Under UK Data Protection legislation you have a right to see the personal information that I keep about you, upon receipt of written request (by post or email) to the address below.
